Acceleration in pace of urban life is the motor of the prototype - Urban Shrinkage. Shrinkage of a 'space' here has two meanings: in a geographical sense and a social sense. So the aim of this proposal is: firstly, improving the quality of life in Canada Water area, secondly, enhancing London's key role as a national and international global city. The idea of the 4 time-space layers (Canada Water time-space, London time-space, UK time-space and the World time-space) will function this prototype.

 

branding:

An 'Urban Shrinkage' test for creating an artificial urban space by using the time - space proposition.

earth:

Public service area. Social space will be designed firstly through 4 time-space layers. Physical space design will follow its principle.

flow:

Through the 4 time-space layers, 24-hour services will flow out the local area.

incorporation:

24-hour services are 2 types of interaction, face to face contact and intermediate contact by using the time-space convergence.
