Massive
constellation of proto-urban forces provokes emergence of
new urban processes and forms that are changing the city.
They are not planned, they seem 'wild' and 'chaotic', they
defy predictions and attempts of governance. They are 'out
of control'. Prototype points out to characteristics and qualities
of new phenomena as guiding principles for their navigation.
Knowledge of this prototype is empirical, it's source are
rapid urban transformations in Belgrade of the past decade.

production of themselves in multitude of variations, through
positive feedback.

systems of commerce, housing, public transport, etc are atomized,
distributed over a large number of 'one man enterprises'.

are heterogeneous, they pursue multiple goals and have no
optimized performance. They are heterarchial, organized as
large networks whose behavior arises from local, interdependent
acts.
