Massive constellation of proto-urban forces provokes emergence of new urban processes and forms that are changing the city. They are not planned, they seem 'wild' and 'chaotic', they defy predictions and attempts of governance. They are 'out of control'. Prototype points out to characteristics and qualities of new phenomena as guiding principles for their navigation. Knowledge of this prototype is empirical, it's source are rapid urban transformations in Belgrade of the past decade.

branding:

Emerging urban forms poses vitality of evolving; they seek to increase production of themselves in multitude of variations, through positive feedback.

earth:

Urban systems of commerce, housing, public transport, etc are atomized, distributed over a large number of 'one man enterprises'.

flow:

New systems are heterogeneous, they pursue multiple goals and have no optimized performance. They are heterarchial, organized as large networks whose behavior arises from local, interdependent acts.

incorporation:

Instead of incorporation into existing body of institutions, legal conditions, etc they are setting up new rules.
